Working with wallpapers and surface prints has been a refreshing journey. There are endless possibilities when your canvas is so big and materials are in hand. Working hands on with various materials and print techniques to create patterns that repeat seamlessly, yet making it not look like a repeat has been a fun experience.
01. Ocean Whispers
Mural making with cyanotype of various fabrics and its folds along with foiling on top to create the element of mesmerising and magical whispers.
Unreleased due to print issues. Exploration for Beyond.
02. Future Past
Released as part of Beyond
Like a sari draped across time, classic decorations peep out from futuristic constellations —
rhythms of radials and geometries. A soft, fabric-feel background provides a warm contrast.
03. Sienna
Worked with Ananya Gupta
Released as part of Beyond
A mural to depict the layers and textures of soil and silently speak about how it is the building blocks of mankind. Created with actual soil and natural pigments on wet handmade paper.
04. Funky Dinos
Released as part of Small World
Like sketches of dinosaur dreams on class notebooks, this wallpaper envisions the mad minds of children.
